ADOPTED CATS 2022

Checker

"Checker" returned to DunRoamin' on August 10, 2022. She had originally come to us from Fredericton on January 31, 2019 from an SPCA seizure of approximately 200 cats. She was adopted in March of 2019, but had returned to us on August 10, 2022 as her adopters could no longer keep her. She was assessed by our vet, her vaccines were updated and she was happy to be back with her friend Spy, who was also eturned along with her. She was born about July 30, 2017.

Checker is an absolute sweetheart. She loves people and her favourite place to relax is on your shoulders while you write or work on your computer. She gets along very well with other cats and was soon a favourite in I-Lean's Room at DunRoamin'.

Checker eventually moved to The Purrfect Cup to spend time with her Purrfect Friends and to find a new home, which she did very quickly. She soon endeared herself to a lady who invited her to come live with her in Douglas, where she now lives happily ever after. What a wonderful way to start a new year - with a new home, a new family and lots of love! Please send photos soon, Checker! We can't wait to see you with your new family! Happy New Year!!

Caterina

"Caterina" and her sisters Caitlyn, Celeste and Carmella came to DunRoamin' on June 22, 2022 from the Bedell area where they had lived for quite some time, but their owner could no longer care for them. They had lived in a basement and now had no other options.

Celeste, Caterina and Carmella were born about June 22, 2018. Caitlyn was born about June 22, 2019, and has more of an attitude than her friends, but is still a loving and affectionate cat.

All were relatively healthy, having such issues as mild gingivitis, coarse coat, mild tartar and/or parasites. All were spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV, provided with full vaccines and treated for parasites. They are completely healthy, up to date, and ready for a new home. Carmella and Celeste were soon adopted and Caitlyn now lives with a senior citizen in Juniper, NB to ensure he has lots of love and company! On October 29, 2022, Caterina joined her friends at The Purrfect Cup Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton, where she patiently waited to meet that perfect person who would become her family.

On Dececmber 30, 2022, Caterina was very happy to have a Christmas/New Year's present that was the best of all possible presents - she was adopted by a very nice lady from Fredericton where she will now live happily ever after! We are all very happy for you, Caterina! Congratulations! Happy New Year!! Don't forget to write!!

Alissa

Augusta

"Alissa" and Augusta" were born to Amy on July 5, 2022, five days after Amy was rescued. Their siblings, Ace, Alec and Adriana were also born that day. Sadly, their sister Tonya was not able to survive despite medical intervention. All surviving kittens were soon healthy and strong thanks to the nutrition and veterinary care with which they were provided.

Alissa and Augusta soon were happy to go to live with their friends at The Purrfect Cup where they hoped to find a home together. They are almost identical, with a small patch of black on each of their heads. They are loving, happy, playful and affectionate little kittens who are grateful for the live they have been given.

On December 30, 2022, they received a late Christmas present when they were adopted by a young lady from Fredericton where they are now living in the lap of luxury! They are extremely happy to have a new home, and especially happy to be able to stay together. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and to your new family. Don't forget to send photos! We can't wait to see you in your new home!

Amy

Look at me Meow!

"Amy" came to DunRoamin' on July 4, 2022 from Summerfield where she had been found in the woods all by herself. She was obviously pregnant, but also very skinny. Chances are, she would have had a difficult birth, and who knows who would or wouldn't survive. She was born about July 4, 2021.

Amy was accepted by DunRoamin' and the very next afternoon she gave birth to six little kittens. Sadly, one did not survive. Her name was Tonya and we are sad that she did not get a chance to experience the love and family her siblings will. Had Amy not been rescued, she would have been giving birth on a very wet, cold evening with little or no shelter, so perhaps many more would not have survived. We all thank her rescuer, especially her kittens Ace, Alissa, Alec, Adriana and Augusta.

On November 12, 2022, Amy went to stay with her friends at The Purrfect Cup where she soon met the young lady who was to become her best friend.

On December 30, 2022, Amy went to live in a wonderful home in Fredericton where she will be loved forever. Congratulations, Amy! What a wonderful way to end the year and start a whole new life. Don't forget to write - we can't wait to hear about your new home and wonderful new life!

Gambit

"Gambit" and her son Smug came to DunRoamin' on August 29, 2022 from Upper Kent where they had been found in a cardboard box on the side of the road. Another kitten was found dead nearby, probably having gotten out of the box and struck by a vehicle. No one was able to take Gambit and Smug in to make sure they would be safe and have a loving home.

Gambit was born about September 1, 2021, so was only about a year old. She has a stub tail - it may have been injured or she may have been born that way. She is a beautiful little girl who loves people and other cats. She can be vocal if she wants attention (or food!) She was relatively healthy on arrival and was soon spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for parasites. She loves her little boy, is very affectionate with humans and is hoping for a loving home very soon.

Gambit went to The Purrfect Cup on November 12, to stay with their Purrfect Friends and hopefully meet her new family!

On December 30, 2022, Gambit received her Christmas present when she was adopted by a very nice lady from Fredericton. Gambit is now happily ensconced in her new home where she will be loved forever by her family. She'd like to thank her rescuer, her caregivers, her vet friends and all her friends at The Purrfect Cup for their help in changing her life! Congratulations, Gambit! Write soon!!

Hero

"Hero" and her brother "Ira" came to DunRoamin' on November 8, 202,2 from the Centreville area where they had been found alone in a garage. No mother was present or had been seen for several days. They were born about August 21, 2022.

Hero and Ira both had a bad upper respiratory infection. Their eyes were partially glued shut with infection and they had a bit of difficulty breathing. Their new vet friend quickly helped remedy that by cleaning the mucous from their eyes and nose and providing medication to help them overcome the infection.

Neither of these little ones should have been away from their mother just yet, but they were soon starting to thrive, once they were warm, safe have had their upper respiratory infection addressed and were receiving lots of healthy, nutritious food. They were soon healthy and strong enough to be spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated including all booster shots, tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and treated for all parasites. They are now ready to join a loving family - that's their wish and prayer.

On December 22, 2022, Hero was so happy to be adopted into a loving home in Charlottetown, PEI, where she will have the best life ever. Congratulations, Hero. Don't forget to write - we will all be looking forward to watching you grow up! Merry Christmas!!

Corporal

"Corporal" came to DunRoamin' on November 10, 2022 from Florenceville where he had been found under a step all by himself. Estimated to have been born about October 6, 2022, he was much too young to be all alone and without a mother to care for him. He had an upper respiratory infection, was thin and was also dehydrated.

Corporal was immediately examined by his new vet friend who provided all medications necessary for him to thrive. He is eating lots and has even started to play a bit! He is very happy to cuddle up on his warm Snuggle Safe and is even happier to receive love and cuddles from his caregiver. He's gonna be fine!

Corporal will be neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. When all this is done and he's old and strong enough, he'll be anxious to have a home of his very own. He's looking forward to it. He thanks everyone who had a hand in helping him start this new life.

On December 22, 2022, Corporal was elated to leave for his new home in Fredericton. What a wonderful Christmas present! Congratulations, Corporal! Please send lots of photos! We can't wait to see what a handsome boy you will grow into. Merry Christmas!!

Celeste

"Celeste" and her friends Caitlyn, Caterina and Carmella came to DunRoamin' on June 22, 2022 from the Bedell area where they had lived for quite some time but at this time their owner could no longer care for them.

All have been spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV, provided with full vaccines and treated for parasites. They are now completely healthy, up to date, and ready for a new home very soon. Please come meet them!!

On December 19, 2022, Celeste met a very nice lady from Newburg and it was love at first sight. Celeste happily met and interacted with her new friend and we're sure they are going to have the very best of times. Congratulations, Celeste! What a wonderful Christmas present! Write soon! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

Smug

"Smug" came to DunRoamin' on August 22, 2022 from the Upper Kent area with his mom Gambit where they were found in a cardboard box that had been abandoned on the side of a busy road. Smug's sibling, who had probably escaped from the box was found dead nearby, probably having been struck by a vehicle. As Smug and his mom had no one who would take them in, they came to us for help. Smug was born about June 1, 2022, so was only about three months old.

Smug is a healthy, happy, playful little boy. He loves his mom and loves to play. He is now neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He was looking forward to having a permanent, safe home of his own and was so very grateful to have the experience of a foster home while he awaited that perfect family. Thanks, Sarah and Seth! Smug had the pleasure of living with many other cats and two young children, and he is chill with everyone and everything! He LOVES EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! He'd love to have a home with another cat or a kitten close to his own age.

On December 19, 2022, Smug met a man who had seen his writeup on our website. Smug was immediately smitten with this gentleman and vice versa. He now lives in Richibucto Road with his new family which includes children and another cat! Congratulations! Thanks for giving this beautiful little boy a home. We'll be looking forward to photos and updates, Smug. Write soon! Merry Christmas!!!

Bagheera

"Bagheera" came to us on October 16, 2022 from the Richmond Corner area where he had been found in a ditch all alone by a lady who was out walking her dog.

Bagheera was born about April 30, 2022. He was relatively healthy and was soon neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He is a going concern - he is very sweet and loves EVERYONE - human, feline, canine - you name it! Bagheera was initially fostered by a vet tech who took really good care of him. After his return to DunRoamin', he was fostered by his friends Seth and Sarah who also fell in love - who wouldn't?? He was very happy to have young kids, cats, dogs and his adult humans in his life.

On December 17, 2022, Bagheera was adopted by a family from Beardsley where he will have his own dogs, kids, cats and adult humans - all of whom love him already! Congratulations, Bagheera! Merry Christmas!!

Flour

"Flour" came to DunRoamin' on October 3, 2022 from Oak Mountain where she was found on the side of the road all alone. Born about August 15, 2022, she was underweight, was loaded with fleas, had a purulent discharge from her vagina and her right hip was badly dislocated. She underwent surgery on November 8, 2022, to rectify this injury.

Flour is a flurry of activity. She purrs constantly, loves to play, loves attention, loves people - loves EVERYTHING! She is very grateful to be warm, safe, dry have a nice soft bed and to have lots of friends. And don't forget the nutritious food that has helped bring her back to health so quickly! Flour hopes to find a home with another cat to keep her company, as she loves to have feline company as well as human company.

On December 5, 2022, Flour got a wonderful Christmas present when she was adopted to Florenceville-Bristol as a friend for a young lady and two former DunRoamin' cats. Congratulations, everyone! Send lots of photos, Flour!! Merry Christmas!

Ezekiel
On December 4, 2022, Ezekiel was very happy to move to his new home in Woodstock where he will be the best friend of another cat. He is extremely happy to be adopted by his wonderful new family. Please write often.

Avalon

"Avalon" came to us on July 27, 2022 from the Carlisle, NB area where she had given birth to one kitten nine days previously. She had fleas, ear mites, and dental extractions were required to repair her mouth. She was lethargic and needed help - which she immediately received!

Avalon is a beautiful little short-haired white cat who loves everyone. She happily looks people in the eye to gain attention, and she loves to have lots of that. She was born about July 27, 2012 and would love to have a family of her very own. Please come meet her!

On November 27, 2022, Avalon's wait was over. She was adopted by a very nice young couple from Fredericton where she will live as an only cat. She is not keen on being around other cats, and she is extremely pleased to have two new human servants who will dedicate every waking hour to her pleasure! Her new name is now Bobi! Congratulations!

Monarch

"Monarch" came to DunRoamin' on September 10, 2022. He was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II who recently passed away. He was found outside a home in Wakefield, but no one was available to help him. He was found to be infested with fleas (very uncomfortable!) and his vet determined that he also has a previously-broken left hind leg which was causing him some discomfort. His pelvis may have been injured as well.

Monarch was born about April 10, 2022, so is still a young kitten. He will be fully examined, x-rayed, vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV, neutered, etc, and we'll have more info soon. Right now, we know he is a sweetheart who is very happy to be warm, safe and comfortable. He loves his new bed and purrs to greet each human who enters his airspace!!

Monarch, along with Gambit and Amy went to The Purrfect Cup as of today, November 12, to stay with their Purrfect Friends and hopefully meet their new family?

On November 26, 2022, Monarch was adopted by a family from Fredericton. He will have the very best life of which he could ever dream. We are so happy for you! Please send lots of photos of you and your new family, including your new eight-year old twin girls! They already love you so much! Congratulations to everyone!!

Ellis

Look at me Meow!

"Ellis" came to DunRoamin' on July 16, 2022 from Newburg where he came to a home requesting help. This person could not provide it personally, so requested our help for him.

Ellis was born about July 16, 2018 and is a very nice boy. He had some initial issues with diarrhea and upset stomach, but some quality food, lots of love and even more rest on the softest bed he'd ever seen helped him become healthy very quickly. He is now neutered, fully vaccinated and tested FIV/FeLV negative!

Ellis is four years old, but plays like a kitten. He loves playing with toys, paper, your feet, other cats - anything or anyone who is up for a good game of anything is welcome! He is a beautiful little orange and white boy.

On November 26, 2022, Ellis was adopted by a very nice lady from Fredericton. They will now live happily ever after. Congratulations, Ellis. You are a very lucky little boy who deserves this new life you're getting! Send us lots of photos - we'll miss you!

Anthony

Look at me Meow!

"Anthony" came to DunRoamin' on September 15, 2022 after having been found on the side of the road in Southampton. He had been heard meowing for quite some time and his rescuer eventually found him under a deck. He was all alone and it was learned later that his mom had most likely been struck by a car that morning.

Anthony was treated for fleas and bathed. He was then taken home by his new favourite caretaker who works full day shifts, then takes him home to wake every three hours to ensure he gets the nourishment he needs in a timely manner so that he can grow big and strong. Thanks - this means the world to him. And to us. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date.

On November 25, 2022, Anthony was happy to be chosen as the newest best friend of a young lady from Fredericton. He will now live happily ever after in the Capital City. Please don't forget to stay in touch, Anthony. We'll all miss you, especially your foster mother. Congratulations!!

Enya

On November 25, 2022, Enya was adopted to a wonderful home in Mactaquac! Her adopter had fallen madly in love with her cuteness, and when it was time to go home, they decided that her sister Emmylou should join the family also! Congratulations!!

Emmylou

On November 25, 2022, Emmylou was very excited to learn that she had been chosen as a friend for a young lady in Mactaquac. Both she and her sister Enya will now live happily ever after in their new home. Thanks for keeping them together! Congratulations to Enya, Emmylou and to their new family!

Caspian

"Shanty" came to DunRoamin' on May 31, 2022 from East Centreville along with her eight babies. Shanty was born about May 31, 2020, and had already had several litters of kittens. She had an infected abscess on her back, perhaps the result of an animal bite, and she did not have enough milk to sustain her eight babies. Two had already passed away before she came to us and the eight she was trying to feed were draining her resources. She definitely needed help, and so did her daughters Atlanta, Ocean and Calypso and her sons Marino, Poseidon, Caspian, Kraken and Aqua who had been born on May 13, 2022.

Shanty is doing much better. Her foster mother is ensuring she gets plenty of food and her kittens are being supplemented with Kitten Milk Replacer by syringe and bottle feeding. Little Atlanta was only 166 g when she arrived, barely half the size of her next-largest sibling. With the frequent and attentive care provided by her foster mom, Atlanta is slowly gaining weight and flourishing. As of June 17, 2022, they are on antibiotics and some have received fluids to help them grow big and strong. They are all beautiful little babies who deserve a chance at a good life and loving home - so now they will get it.

Donations are welcome to help sustain them with food, medication and all medical requirements while they grow strong enough to eat and be on their own. They should be old enough to be weaned by the end of July. Although Shanty is a good mother, she did not receive enough nutrition to provide for herself and her babies, but she is doing well now that she is receiving plenty of high-quality food. Thanks to her foster mother for her constant care and attention, as well as the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic for ongoing medical advice and assistance.

On November 25, 2022, Caspian was so happy to learn that his foster family had decided that there was no way that they could live without him. And to his added joy, his friend Adriana got to be adopted with him! Congratulations to the whole family! Thanks for all your support of DunRoamin'. Send photos, Caspian!!

Adriana
On November 25, 2022, Adriana learned that the love she had given her foster family was definitely reciprocated! She was adopted by her foster family, and her friend Caspian got to become a family member, too! Congratulations to all! Way to go!

"Wentworth" came to DunRoamin' on March 28, 2022 from the Woodstock area. He was born about March 31, 2019 and had fleas, healing wounds under his front legs and was covered in fleas. FIV and FeLV tests revealed that he was positive for Feline Leukemia. Please read about it here.

He is a beautiful, friendly little boy who would love to be adopted with another FeLV+ cat or two. He currently lives with Dazzler, Scrabble and Lucia who are also FeLV+. They are healthy and happy cats who dream of a home of their own.

Update : Wentworth has been adopted! Story coming soon

**  Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is found in cats worldwide.  It may be spread by saliva, nasal secretions, urine, feces and milk from infected cats.  Cat-to-cat transfer of the virus may occur from a bite wound, during mutual grooming and (though rarely) through the shared use of litter boxes and feeding dishes.  Transfer may also take place from an infected mother cat to her kittens, either before they are born or while they are nursing.  Although there has long been a stigma associated with this virus, these cats can live long and happy lives as only cats or with other cats who have FeLV.

To learn more about the Feline Leukemia Virus,

Harvey

"Harvey" came to DunRoamin' on October 9, 2022 from Holmesville where he had been found near a public mailbox on the side of the road well after dark. He had been born about August 4, 2022, so was just a baby - a very cold, scared and hungry baby. He was immediately brought for help, and he thanks the young lady who rescued him. His vet diagnosed him with having worms, but he was otherwise healthy. He just needed food, shelter, warmth and someone to love and care for him. He is very affectionate and loves to play and cuddle. And he has a great purrer!

Harvey was given everything he deserves. He was neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He is a very charismatic little boy who loves everyone. His dream was for a permanent home, hopefully with another young cat or kitten to keep him company. He's not fond of being alone!

On November 22, 2022, Harvey was elated to meet his new mom! He now lives in Richibucto Road with his very own family which includes several other cats who will love him like his human family already does! It's wonderful when dreams come true! Congratulations, Harvey! Send lots of photos!!

Rosetta and Kittens!

Rosetta Meow!

"Rosetta" came to DunRoamin' on July 3, 2022 from Oakland, NB, where she was trying to give birth but was having much difficulty. Rosetta was born about July 3, 2020, so was just a year old and already having kittens.

Rosetta was rushed into emergency surgery at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where a Cesarean surgery was performed to save the life of her and her babies, Rune and Stone. Sadly, their little sister Hannah was unable to survive.

Thanks to lots of professional medical care and a good diet, Rosetta was soon doing well and taking such very good care of her two offspring who were born on July 3, 2022. She is a beautiful little girl and a very good momma. When her babies Rune and Stone were adopted, she soon moved to The Purrfect Cup in Fredericton where she met many very nice people. Please drop in to this wonderful cafe for some great coffee, treats and cats!!

On November 19, 2022, Rosetta was very excited to leave for her new home in the Fredericton area where she will be the new best friend of a very nice young lady and her new feline sibling. Congratulations, Rosetta! Send lots of photos!!

Rune

Stone

I'm interested.  How do I meet this cat?
Please spay and neuter your pets!!!

"Becky" came to us on April 27, 2022 from the Oakland area where she had been found on the side of the road meowing loudly. No family could be located. Her rescuers were allergic and could not keep her, so she came to us for help.

Becky was born about April 27, 2021, so was only about one year old - way too young to be on her own. Her rescuers had been giving her food, which she gratefully wolfed down. Becky will be spayed on May 10, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and will be ready to go around the third week of May. She can't wait. She is a beautiful little girl who is looking forward to a safe life with a family who loves her. Please come meet her.

On November 12, 2022, Becky was adopted by a lady and her young daughter who live in Fredericton. Becky now has a permanent home and a family whom she had loved since she had met them. Congratulations, Becky! Send lots of photos of you and your new family!

Alec
On November 4, 2022, Alec was very happy to learn that he had been chosen by a young couple from Fredericton to be their newest family member. Andrea

"Andrea" came to DunRoamin' on March 25, 2022 from Bath where her owners were unable to keep her. She was born about December 26, 2011 and required some dental extractions. Other than that, she is good to go!

She will soon be up to date on her vaccines, is spayed and tested for FIV and FeLV. She is a very vocal lady and is very affectionate and is hoping for a nice retirement home where she can hang out with someone and keep them company.

On October 29, 2022, Andrea went to join her new family in Fredericton where she will be spoiled to the extent that she deserves (and beyond!) Congratulations, Andrea. Every good thing is well worth waiting for! Please send lots of photos - we'll miss you!

Kruger

Lecter

"Kruger and Lecter" originally came to DunRoamin' on October 24, 2021 from the Florenceville area where they were found near a property that had several dogs. A sibling had already been killed by the dogs and a kind person rescued Krueger and Lecter and brought them to us for safekeeping. They are brothers who were born about September 11, 2021, so were only a few weeks old.

Krueger and Lecter were adopted together on December 27, 2022, a late Christmas present to herself by a very loving and caring animal person. Krueger and Lecter lived happily there until August 11, 2022, when, sadly, their adopter passed away suddenly. She is missed very much by all of us, especially Krueger and Lecter.

On August 20, 2022, they went to stay with their friends at The Purrfect Cup to find a new family. We wish them the best. They wish to stay together, as they have been through a lot and have never been separated. Please come meet them. They are very loving and social little boys who would really love another "home" experience.

On October 29, 2022, Kruger and Lecter were very happy to leave for their new home in Fredericton where they will be the two best friends of a very nice young lady who fell in love with them immediately, and vice versa! We are very happy that these handsome brothers get to stay together. They are very happy to have been chosen, and happily settled into their carrier long before their mother was ready to leave for home! They knew exactly what a great day it was! Congratulations!!

Ace
On October 14. 2022, Ace was adopted by a very nice family where he will grow up with children and another kitten very close to his age. Congratulations to all!

Even Cuter!

"Soto" came to DunRoamin' on July 13, 2022 from Summerfield where he was a stray whom no one could take in. He was born about May 18, 2022, so was just a baby. He definitely needed help. He would like to remind everyone to "Please spay and neuter your pets!!" so that more little ones like him don't have to suffer.

Soto has what appears to be sunburned ears which are quite painful. This can sometimes be the reason for cancer on the tips of white cats ears, and that's not fun. He also has a bad case of upper respiratory infection and lots of fleas, as well. He has been treated for these and all other maladies. He will be neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and ready to go to a home soon.

Soto is very happy to be warm, dry, safe and fed. He was given some antibiotics and pain medication to ensure he is more comfortable. He loves to meow for attention, and once he gets that attention, he's good to go! He loves people and is a very sweet cat. He looks forward to being a beloved housecat - he can't wait!!!

On October 8, 2022, Soto was adopted to a wonderful home in Oromocto, NB where he will live his best possible life. We are SO happy for you, Little Guy! Congratulations! Don't forget to send lots of photos!!

Badger

"Badger," returned to DunRoamin' on July 29, 2022 from where he had been adopted in 2021 as his adopter could no longer keep him. He had originally come to us from a colony of 62 on February 4, 2021 where he and his friends were not in good shape. He had upper respiratory infection, his teeth were infected so badly he had to have them all removed, he was dehydrated and had parasites.

Badger was treated for all his woes and his teeth were all removed. He was soon feeling so much better, and he quickly became a social, loving, affectionate and grateful little boy. He is now fully vaccinated, neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He has the most beautiful eyes and is a very sweet little boy who hopes for the home and family that he deserves.

On September 15, 2022, Badger was elated to learn that he had burrowed his way into the hearts of a couple from Killarney Road. He will have a feline friend to play with and all the love of a very nice couple. Congratulations to everyone! Please send photos and updates - we can't wait to hear from you!!

"Genesis," came to us from Florenceville on November 19, 2021. She had been allowed in a home occasionally, but had been allowed out frequently and soon returned with an injured leg. She required medical care, so was accepted by DunRoamin'.

Upon examination by her new vet, it was learned that she had a soft tissue injury on her front leg which was treated and she was soon doing well. She is now vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV, treated for parasites and is spayed. She is a beautiful little pewter-coloured girl who has personality to spare. She can be a little bossy at times with other cats, but when you're living with eight others, someone has to be in charge, and she's decided it's her!

Genesis is hoping for a home where she will be loved forever. She was born about November 23, 2020 and is completely up to date on her vaccines as of December, 2022. Please come meet her!

On September 15, 2022, Genesis got the news she had been waiting for. She had previously chosen a very nice young lady from Lincoln and was dreaming that she would return to adopt her. Today her dream came true! Genesis, this is WONDERFUL! Congratulations! Send lots of photos and updates!

"Yvette" came to us on May 3, 2022 from Oakland where she had been an indoor/outdoor cat who was abandoned when her family moved away. No one was willing to help her, so she came to us.

Yvette was born about September 7, 2017. She was already spayed, but was not vaccinated. She will meet her new vet and get a full physical examination and start her intake routine of vaccines, parasite control and FIV/FeLV testing. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date!

On September 15, 2022, Yvette was happy to learn that her favourite admirer during her time at The Purrfect Cup could not even imagine not having her in her life forever. Congratulations, Yvette! Enjoy your new life and family!!

Calypso

On September 15, 2022, Calypso was very happy to learn that she would join a family from Fredericton where she will have feline family and have the best possible life! Congratulations, Calypso!!

"Thackery" came to DunRoamin' on July 4, 2022 from Woodstock. He had been a stray whom people had been trying to help for quite some time, but he was unwilling to trust them. Eventually, he was live-trapped and it was learned that he actually trusted people once he got to know them!

Thackery was neutered under the Woodstock Community Cat Program (check out the town website for more info), but it was determined that he had two teeth that needed dental extraction and no one was available to cover that procedure, so he came to us to make sure he had no dental pain.

Thackery is a beautiful little boy who will undergo dental surgery on August 11. After that, he'll be ready to be adopted, and he can't wait!! He was born about June 28, 2017 and is so excited about living under a nice roof and having a loving family!

On September 8, 2022, Thackery was very happy to have been chosen by his favourite person as her third DunRoamin' cat! Congratulations to everyone!!!

Look at me meow!

"Leonard" came to us on came to us on June 20, 2022 when a kind lady noticed him on the side of the road. He looked like he needed help, and although she could not provide it, she made sure he got it.

Leonard was born about June 20, 2012. He is emaciated and has a heavy parasite burden which has made him anemic. Leonard is currently under medical care at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and we are hoping for the best. He is a beautiful boy who deserves a much better life and we hope to make him well enough so he may join a family who will provide a loving, warm and safe home for his remaining years. Stay tuned for an update on this sweet little boy.

On September 5, 2022, Leonard became the happiest cat ever when he was invited to join the family of a very nice lady in Fredericton. Congratulations, Leonard! You'll have the very best life now - spoiled, loved, and with absolutely nothing to worry about EVER!!

Look at me now! (Aug 2, 2021)

"Cecily" came to us on June 3, 2021 from the Hartland area where she had been part of a group of cats who were not in good shape.  Cecily was born about June 3, 2018 and may be related to Marla (see above) who had a similar medical problem - she had severe upper respiratory infection and an infected left eye.  Cecily required all her teeth to be removed as they were not in good shape at all - that must have been very painful.

It was initially thought that her left eye was too badly damaged to save, but that is not the case.  She had surgery to help repair it and is doing well as of August 2, 2021, when she moved from veterinary care to us.  While in vet care, she had issues putting on weight so was fed through a tube to make sure she took in enough calories to help her grow.  She obviously did not have enough food from where she came, so we're  hoping to teach her that it's a good thing to have all the food she will ever need for the rest of her life.

Cecily is a sweet little girl who just needs to feel safe and normal - she'll get there!  We'll teach her what a loving, caring family is so that she can choose her very own!  She loves attention and affection, but sometimes isn't sure of it.  She'll learn very quickly that she will always be safe and cared for.  Please come meet her.

On September 3, 2022, Cecily's dream of having her very own person for the rest of her life came true! A young lady who had met her some time ago had promised her that when she was in a position to provide Cecily with the home she deserved, she would come back for her. And today, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!! Cecily is over the moon with happiness and excitement! And so are we. You deserve this, Cecily, and we are SO happy for you! Don't forget to send pictures and updates! Congratulations!!

"Shalla" and "Meara" came to DunRoamin' on January 14, 2021 from a colony of 62 that was growing unchecked.  They appear to be siblings and are very much bonded with each other.  Shalla is the grey tabby and white little girl and appears relatively healthy with no major concerns.   Meara is the calico.  She had ear mites and required another checkup once she was more comfortable in her new environment just to ensure all was well, but she is now fine.

These sisters were born about January 14, 2019, are obviously bonded and would like to be adopted together.  They are now spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and are anxious to start the next wonderful phase of their lives.

On January 30, 2021, Shalla and Meara went to stay with some very good supporters and lovers of all things cat so that they might become more relaxed and social - they were initially timid due to all these changes in their lives.  They are doing very well and are anxious to have permanent homes very soon.  Thanks to their foster parents for taking such good care of them and teaching the how wonderful some humans can be!

On September 3, 2022, Shalla and Meara were adopted together by a very nice lady in Fredericton who will treat them like the queens they are. We are so very happy that they get to stay together for the rest of their lives - these sisters started out with a very rough life, but now they will be loved and cared for as family members. Congratulations. Please write often to let us know how they're doing!

Marino

On September 3, 2022, Marino and her friend Callum were adopted together by a young couple in Fredericton where they'll live together and be best friends forever. Congratulations!! Don't forget to write!!

Callum July 17, 2022

"Callum" came to DunRoamin' from the Beardsley, NB area on June 14, 2022. He was one of four kittens born to a feral mom who had been hanging around a house. Thanks to a kind family and relatives, three of the kittens had found homes and the mom had been live-trapped in order to be spayed so no more kittens would be born without homes and people to care for them.

Callum was born about April 28, 2022 and is a very sweet little boy. He was initially nervous and hissy, but he is now fostered by a very kind young lady where he has feline and canine foster siblings and the best of care and attention while he grows strong enough to be neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. He will also receive parasite medication to be rid of fleas, worms and ear mites. Thanks to his rescuers and his foster mother, he will soon be ready for a loving home and he looks forward to it very, very much.

Donations to help with his medical care would be greatly appreciated. Find out more info here

Callum went to visit his/her friends at The Purrfect Cup on August 20, 2022 where he/she hopes to meet his/her new family! Please come check out this Cat Cafe! It's fantastic!!

On September 3, 2022, Callum and his friend Marino were adopted together by a young couple in Fredericton where they'll live together and be best friends forever. Congratulations!! Don't forget to write!!

Ocean

Atlanta

On September 3, 2022 Atlanta and her sister Ocean were adopted by a very nice couple! They now live happily in Barton, NB! Congratulations!!

Cassidy

Jericho

"Cassidy" (tortie female) and "Jericho" (orange tabby male) came to DunRoamin' on July 4, 2022 from Florenceville where a young child was giving them away in a parking lot. Caring people thought they were in poor physical condition so they accepted them and brought them to us for medical assistance. They were born about May 23, 2022.

Although very young and hungry, these two little kittens were in fairly decent condition. They were given a warm, safe bed and some quality food to ensure that they had a good diet. They are currently fostered by a very kind lady in Florenceville so they will be safe and get lots of socialization. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date! PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS!!!

On September 3, 2022, Cassidy and Jericho were adopted by a very nice lady from Grand Falls where they will get to live together forever. Congratulations!!

Look at me meow!

"Wave" came to DunRoamin' on June 26, 2022 from Long Settlement. He had been found on a porch first thing in the morning yelling at the top of his lungs. He needed help, and he wanted everyone to know! No other cats or kittens were found in the area and no one was available to take him in.

Upon examination by his new vet friend, it was learned that Wave was born about May 23, 2022, so was only a baby, much too young to be away from his mom. He was relatively healthy, so hadn't been on his own for very long.

Wave is now in foster care until he is old enough to eat on his own, be vaccinated, neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He looks forward to the time he is ready to be adopted into a loving home where he will be safe forever. In the meantime, he is happy to be warm, safe and loved by his DunRoamin' friends and family.

On September 3, 2022, Wave moved to Bedell, NB, to be a friend for another young cat where they will live happily ever after. Congratulations!

"Farnell" came to DunRoamin' on November 24, 2021 from Juniper where he had "blocked", and his owners were unable to undergo medical treatment for him. "Blocking" is when their bodies create crystals which eventually lump together and can block the urethra. Farnell requires a prescription diet of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food which will ensure he does not block again. We have had dozens (if not hundreds!) of cats on this diet and as long as they eat only this diet, there has never been a recurrence.

Farnell is a sweet boy who was born about August 6, 2020, and he loves people - a lot! He has a quiet and attentive personality and prefers to be wherever his favourite human is. He also loves to play and watch TV and will make his new family smile every day. He's looking forward to meeting that family very soon.

On August 31, Farnell was adopted by a couple from Jacksonville where he will be the spoiled little boy he has always dreamed of being! Congratulations!!

"Matcha" came to us along with ten other cats on June 1, 2021 from the Perth-Andover area.  He was born about June 1, 2020 and was lean, had ear mites and many scabs all over his body.

Matcha took a bit of time to trust us, but he learned soon that we were his friends..  He lived with his friend Truffle (see our Adopted Cats page) who showed him that there are only good and caring people here and that he is safe forever now.  He is looking for a new home and is neutered, has had his full set of vaccines, FeLV/FIV tests and parasite control.   He has come a very long way in learning to trust humans, especially since he's learned how good some of them are at chin and head scratches!!  We think that Matcha will always take a bit of time to settle into a new environment, so we're hoping his potential family will have the patience he requires because he is well worth it!  He is a sweetheart!

He is a little timid, but it's the very first time he's been in such a very cool place!  He's looking forward to meeting his very own loving family while he's here!

On August 31, 2022, Matcha was excited to leave for his new home. He now lives in Fredericton with a very nice young lady who will spoil him forever! Congratulations, Matcha! Send lots of photos!

"Splotch" came to DunRoamin' on May 21, 2022 from Oakland where she was a stray who appeared to be surviving by eating bird seed. Unfortunately, no one could help her, so she came to us. Splotch was born about May 26, 2013, so is an older girl. Perhaps from years of roaming unprotected from the sun, her ears were sunburned, as often happens in cats with light-coloured ears, and her teeth required a dental cleaning.

Splotch is a very nice girl. Her temperament implies that she is familiar with humans and being inside, although it appears she has not had that luxury for some time. She is gorgeously-coloured and knows how beautiful she is! She hopes for a home where she can live out the remainder of her years in a safe, secure and loving environment. She will willingly show her gratitude forever!

On August 22, 2022, Splotch met a very kind cat-loving couple from Fredericton and fell in love immediately (and vice versa!). She is now a very loved and spoiled member of the family who is treated like the queen she is! Congratulations to you and your new family!!

Poseidon

August 22, 2022, Poseidon was adopted to Rosedale where he will be a sibling for another DunRoamin' cat. Congratulations!

"Barnaby" came to us on May 2, 2022 from Woodstock where he was a stray who had been hanging around for several months. No one could take him in, and it was soon noticed that he had a large, open wound on his neck under his chin.

Barnaby was examined by his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where he was determined to be born about May 2, 2021. He is a beautiful little boy who is grateful to have a warm, soft bed, lots of available food and new friends to care for him. He will be neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites. He will be anxious for a new home in the next couple of weeks - he can't wait to start a new life!

On August 19, 2022, Barnaby was adopted into a family in Bristol where he has several DunRoamin' siblings and foster siblings. Congratulations, Barnaby!

"June" - Meet "June." She came to us on June 18, 2022 from the Southampton area where she had been found on the side of the road the previous evening. She was cold, soaking wet and covered with slugs. She needed help badly or most probably would not have survived the night. She was born about May 14, 2022 - just barely five weeks old, and babies should not be away from their mom so young.

June was diagnosed as underweight, undersized, dehydrated and she had parasites.

Her medical care began immediately and she is fostered with a vet tech to ensure she has around-the-clock supportive care. She is happy to have food and is beginning to eat on her own.

June is named after her rescuer and we are all grateful that this beautiful little girl is now safe, loved and cared for - a far cry from where she would have been without help. Donations are gratefully accepted to help this little one.

Update: June is doing great! As of July 3, 2022., she is eating very well, is very chatty and cuddly, and is afraid of nothing!! She is fostered with dogs and other cats, so is getting familiar with both. She is a very lucky little girl!

On August 20, 2022, June was so happy to learn that she would now live in Black's Harbour with a very nice young lady who had fallen head over heels for her. Congratulations, June! Ask your mom to send lots of photos!!

Phoebe - **picture coming soon**

Breeze - **picture coming soon**

"Phoebe" (grey and white) and "Breeze" (grey tabby) came to DunRoamin' on June 5, 2021 from the Upper Kent area. Phoebe was born about November 1, 2007 and Breeze was born about January 1, 2013. Although they are not sisters, they have been together for many years and we hope that they might enjoy their senior years together in a loving home.

Upon her arrival, Phoebe's vaccines were not up to date, she was overweight, had an inguinal hernia which required surgical repair and she required 13 broken and/or infected teeth to be removed.

Upon her arrival, Breeze's vaccines were not up to date, she was overweight, had a mammary tumor which required surgical removal and required 15 broken and/or infected teeth to be removed.

In the year that these two beautiful girls have been with us, they have come full circle. They are healthy, happy, loving and affectionate little girls. They could still benefit from a few less ounces in weight, but have done well! Phoebe says she has the most beautiful green eyes in the room, and Breeze says she is the most loving.

Both of these beautiful little girls are spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and have been treated for all parasites. They are ready and willing and VERY excited to think that there may be a home and family out there for them. They look forward to meeting those people!

On August 20, 2022, Phoebe and Breeze were adopted to a home in Fredericton where they will live happily together ever after. We are so glad you get to spend the rest of your lives together in such a great home! Congratulations! Write soon!!

I'm interested.  How do I meet this cat?
Please spay and neuter your pets!!!

Aqua

Kraken

On August 18, 2022, Aqua and his brother Kraken were adopted together by a very nice couple from Saint John. Congratulations, little furballs!! Send lots of photos!! We'd love to see you grow up!

Elian

Evander

Look at us Meow!

"Elian" and "Evander" came to DunRoamin' on July 10, 2022 from Greenfield where they had been found near a home that was unoccupied. They appeared to be in bad shape, so an emergency appointment was made at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic, Woodstock Office. A third kitten was found with them, but as he was healthy, he did not come to DunRoamin' but found a home through his rescuer. These kittens were thought to have been born about May 28, 2022.

Elian had fleas and was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia which will require surgery. He will remain with us under observation until he is large and healthy enough to undergo surgery to repair it. He is a long-haired little boy who is very loving and affectionate.

Evander was not as lucky as his brother Elian. Evander had a low body temperature (34* - it should be 38* or 39*), he was cold, pale, unresponsive, had low blood sugar and was half the size of his sibling. He was fortunate to be cared for by his new favourite veterinarian who took him home with her for several days to ensure he got the hour-to-hour care he required. Evander has now joined his brother to ensure he has moral support and both are under the care of the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic. We'll keep you up to date. We hope they'll both be fine.

On August 9, 2022, these beautiful little brothers were adopted by a young couple from Fredericton. Because of Elian's hernia surgery, he has required kennel rest while it heals, but he's now starting to be allowed to play with his brother, and they are ecstatic to do so! Congratulations, boys! Send lots of photos!!

Fluffle Now!

"Fluffle" and her babies Lapin, Wabbit, Hoppy, Hutch and Thumper came to us on April 14, 2022 from the Hainesville area. Fluffle had given birth to Lapin, Wabbit and Hoppy on the afternoon of April 13, 2022, but she was still in labour and in distress the next morning. No one was able to help Fluffle or her babies, so they came to us.

Sadly, Thumper, a fourth kitten, was deceased in her womb, so a Cesearian surgery was required. Little Hutch, the last one born, was rescusitated by their newest best vet friend at Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and is now doing well. All four kittens are putting on weight and their mom, Fluffle is doing so much better. All appear to be male kittens except Lapin.

Stay tuned - we will keep you up to date as these little ones grow big, strong and healthy. After such a rough start, they deserve the best of care, love and family. Donations to help with their care are appreciated.

Update 2022-07-21: Wabbit, Hoppy, Hutch and Lapin have all been adopted! Please see DunDeal page for 2022 Cats!

Update 2022-08-20: Fluffle was adopted by a young couple from Fredericton where she will be spoiled forever! Congratulations, Fluffle! Don't forget to write!

Please spay and neuter your pets!!!

Look at me meow!

"Pike" came to DunRoamin' on May 30, 2022 from Bristol where he had been found hanging out at a camp. He appeared to have no one to care for him, and he needed help. And food. And love. And medication. And neutering. And vaccines. And parasite control!

Pike had an upper respiratory infection that was rectified by a visit to the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and he is doing better already. He is now neutered and his vaccines will be complete by the end of June, so he's hoping to have a home waiting for him by then. He was born about November 29, 2021, so is still just a kitten, and he is certainly a playful one! He loves to chase springs, pick them up and carry them around. He is a very happy and grateful cat who loves all people! If you are looking for a cuddly, playful, affectionate and loving cat - he's your boy!!

On July 23, 2022, Pike was happy to learn that he had been invited to join a family from Fredericton. He will now be as spoiled as he has wished, dreamed and believed he should be! Congratulations, everyone! Don't forget to write, Pike!!

Kimmie

Kristen

"Kimmie" and "Kristen" came to DunRoamin' on May 18, 2022 from Riceville where their owners had moved away and left them behind. Unfortunately, no one was available to take them in, so they came to us.

These two little cats were born about August 19, 2021, and are real sweethearts. They appear to be bonded and have obviously been used to being in a family setting. They are loving, sweet, attentive and affectionate. They are now spayed and will soon be up to date on their vaccines. They hope that they may join a family who will make a commitment to love and care for them forever. They are definitely deserving of that!

On July 23, 2022, Kristen and Kimmie were excited to be adopted by a family who had fallen in love with them at The Purrfect Cup. Their family is now complete with these two beautiful sisters. Congratulations, everyone! Write soon, Kimmie and Kristen!

Carmella

"Celeste", "Caitlyn", "Caterina", "Carmella" came to DunRoamin' on June 22, 2022 from the Bedell area where they had lived for quite some time but their owner could no longer care for them.

All will be spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV, be provided with full vaccines and be treated for parasites. They will be completely healthy, up to date, and ready for a new home very soon. Please come meet them!!

On July 22, 2022, Carmella was adopted by a very nice lady from Florenceville where she will live happily ever after with her and her cat, with whom she will be best friends. Congratulations, Carmella! And congratulations to your family!!

I'm interested.  How do I meet this cat?
Please spay and neuter your pets!!!

On July 21, 2022,

"Hutch and Lapin" (sons of Fluffle) were adopted by a very nice lady who had been waiting for two such perfect little kittens. They now live in Woodstock, NB and are very happy to have such a wonderful family!

On July 21, 2022,

"Hoppy and Wabbit" (sons of Fluffle) were SO happy to be adopted by a very nice couple from Woodstock who has been anxiously awaiting their arrival! They love their humans already, and are very happy to be going to their new home! Congratulations, everyone!! Don't forget to send photos, Hoppy and Wabbit! We'll all miss you!

"Wonder" returned to DunRoamin' on April 13, 2022. She had been adopted in November of 2018, but had begun to urinate inappropriately. She is now under vet care to determine what her problem may be, and she is doing well. Wonder was born about July 1, 2018 and is a very sweet little girl.

We are working on getting her urinary issue under control and she'll be good to go very soon! She is a very sweet little girl who would love to be back in a nice family home again soon.

On June 25, 2022, Wonder was adopted by a very nice young lady. Wonder will now live with her best friend in Fredericton. Don't forget to send photos, Wonder! We'll all miss you!

Inigo

Abigail

"Inigo" and "Abigail" returned to DunRoamin' on May 4, 2022. They had originally come to us on June 25, 2020 from northern New Brunswick where they were part of an SPCA seizure. Inigo was underweight, dehydrated, had feces caked on his scrotum, had moist dermatitis and he also had ear mites. Abigail was thin, dehydrated, lethargic, had ear mites and had a purulent discharge around her vulva. None of these cats were in good shape, but thanks to the medical care they received at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic, they were soon on their way to being in much better health and they soon proved themselves to be loving and grateful little felines. They were estimated to have been born about April 8 and April 20, but may actually be siblings. Inigo has a bit of a darker face, so it's easy to tell them apart.

Inigo and Abigail were adopted together on August 30, 2020 and lived very happy lives with their new family, but unfortunately, allergies became an issue in the home, so these two beautiful little cats came back to us. Inigo is very outgoing and loves people. Abigail is slightly timid, but follows Inigo's lead - if he loves you, she does too!

Inigo and Abigail are both healthy, happy, fully vaccinated and tested for FIV and FeLV. Both they and their family miss each other. On May 28, 2022, they went to The Purrfect Cup to spend some time with their friends and maybe even meet that new perfect family!

On June 25, 2022, Abigail and Inigo were adopted to a wonderful family in Fredericton. We are SO happy for all of you! Don't forget to send photos - we can't wait to see you both in your wonderful new home with your new family!

"Static" came to DunRoamin' on May 21, 2022 from the Perth-Andover area where she was a stray who came to a home and appeared to have an injury on her tail. No one was able to provide medical care for her, so she came to us. She was born about August 26, 2021, so was only about nine months of age - just a baby, and way too young to be out on her own.

Examination by her new vet revealed that she had an abscess, probably the result of a bite wound, near the base of her tail. This wound was already infected, so it had occurred some time ago. Static's wound was cleaned and she was provided with medications which included pain medication and antibiotics to treat the infection. Static's first and best thing to do was eat all she could and then catch up on some sleep - she must have been exhausted from the pain and from trying to stay safe from any other danger. She is now eating well and, once her vet pronounces her healthy enough, she will be spayed, vaccinated and tested for FIV and FeLV. Then, she will be very happy to be adopted to a safe and loving home where she will never have to fear for her safety again. She is very cuddly and sweet - please come meet her!

On July 15, 2022, Static was very happy to learn that she had been invited to join the family of a young couple in Fredericton who had adopted two sibling DunRoamin' cats in 2019. Static will be a new friend for Leelu, who, very sadly, lost her sister Luna recently, despite all the medical care and love that could possibly have been provided. Although Luna will never be forgotten, we hope that Static will help everyone with lots of love, cuddles and compassion in Luna's honour. We are sure Luna is very happy that yet another DunRoamin' cat will have the love and family that she was grateful to have found.

Elroy now!

"Elroy" came to us on May 4, 2022 from the Springfield area where he had no one to care for him. He had been hanging around for a couple of months and had kept coming back with more and more cuts, scrapes and scratches – typical of unneutered males who are trying to survive on their own.

Elroy will be examined by his new vet friend on May 5, 2022 and we will keep you up to date as we learn more about his medical condition. We know right now, for sure, that he is a very sweet boy who seems to love people and is grateful for his warm bed, human attention and lots of food. Stay tuned!

On July 9, 2022, Elroy got the best present of which he'd ever dreamed: he was chosen by a wonderful family in Rothesay to be their newest member. Elroy will now be spoiled beyond his wildest dreams! Congratulations to all! Please send lots of photos!

I'm interested.  How do I meet this cat?
Please spay and neuter your pets!!!

"Catsanova" came to DunRoamin' on March 9, 2022 from Beechwood where he was a stray who had no home, food or shelter during the cold winter days and nights. The temperatures have been very cold, and it's not safe for such a little guy.

Catsanova is a handsome long-haired little boy who had several abrasions and was badly matted. When their fur is matted, it does not provide the normal amount of protection from the cold, so he was very grateful to have a warm bed and lots of food - it was a nice change for him!

Catsanova was examined by his new vet friend who determined that he had several abrasions, but no serious injuries. He had been born about March 10, 2021, so is only about a year old. He loves people and is a very social little boy. Catsanova had to be shaved to remove all the mats in his fur and he was soon doing just fine - he felt SO much better! His is now neutered and tested for FIV and FeLV and was anxious to find a family of his very own. He is a talkative and friendly little guy who loves to be with people - he's very social!

On April 8, 2022, he went to spend some time with his friends at The Purrfect Cup Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing - it's wonderful there! Please drop in and have a great cup of coffee while you enjoy the company of some pretty cool cats!!

On June 11, 2022, Catsanova was very happy to learn that he had been invited to join the family of some very nice people who had met him previously. He now lives in Fredericton with his new family that worships him - and vice versa! Congratulations to all!!

"Salsa" came to DunRoamin' from Fielding on March 10, 2022 where she and her four kittens (Boogaloo, Waltz, Disco and Jive) had all been found living in a garbage bin. It, of course, had no insulation so provided very little shelter from the elements during these cold March days. Salsa was born about March 10, 2021. Salsa was relatively healthy, although she needed some help to put on some weight to help feed her children. She also was combating ear mites and gastro-intestinal parasites. She appreciated a warm, soft bed and some good and plentiful food to help feed her little ones, as she was a bit underweight.

Salsa was initially a bit timid, but quickly became much more confident and affectionate. She was fostered with two dogs, so she is very familiar. On April 30, 2022, she went to spend some time with her friends at The Purrfect Cup where she hoped to meet people who would welcome her to join their family.

On June 6, 2022, Salsa met a young lady and they mutually decided that they should be each other's family! Salsa now lives in Fredericton and is so very grateful to The Purrfect Cup for the opportunity to spend time with them and to meet her new family there. Congratulations to all!!

"Harley" came to us on April 7, 2022 from the Florenceville area where he was found on a porch all alone. There were many dogs in the area, it was close to a road with lots of traffic, no one could care for him and he was not safe. Harley was born about December 7, 2021, so was only a baby of about four months.

Harley had fleas, was emaciated, had waxy ears, moderate gingivitis and halitosis. All his medical issues were addressed, he was neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites.

Harley is a complete sweetheart. He loves to talk, he loves to cuddle, he loves to follow people around, he loves other cats – he just loves EVERYTHING! On May 14, 2021, he went to visit his friends at The Purrfect Cup in Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton, where he hopes to meet his forever family. Thanks to The Purrfect Cup for fostering him!

"Garvin" returned to DunRoamin' on January 4, 2022. He had originally come to us on July 20, 2017 from the Woodstock area where he was found all by himself on the road. Garvin was adopted on November 30, 2017, but came back to us as he was matted and his owners could not care for him. Garvin was shaved and is currently on a diet as he weighed in at 19 pounds - much too much for this guy! He also required dental intervention which required some teeth to be extracted, and is happy to have that all over with! He was born about January 20, 2013.

Garvin was soon feeling much better and is eating a healthy and controlled diet and we hope he'll be back in shape in no time.

Garvin loves people and is an extremely sweet boy. He loves to be patted, brushed and cuddled. His best wish is for a warm, safe and comfortable home where he will be loved forever.

On May 23, 2022, Gavin was adopted by a young lady from Nasonworth who has two cats who are very similar to him - black, long-haired and beautiful! They are already best of friends!

"Disco" came to DunRoamin' on March 10, 2022 where he and his three siblings (Boogaloo, Waltz and Jive) had all been found living in a garbage bin in Fielding, NB with their mother, Salsa. Emilio was examined by his new vet friend who determined that he was relatively healthy, but not yet neutered. His scabs and scars are doing better already. Emilio is now neutered, he tested negative for FIV and FeLV and has started his vaccine protocol. He will soon be ready for a permanent and loving home.

Emilio is an extremely friendly cat. He is SO very happy to be near people. He loves to climb on shoulders, follow people around and be as close to them as is felinely possible. He is a real sweetheart who will add so much love to that special family who wants an attentive, loving and cuddly new member!

On April 8, 2022, he and Catsanova went to spend some time with their friends at The Purrfect Cup Cat Cafe - it's wonderful there! Please drop in and have a great cup of coffee while you enjoy the company of some very nice cats!!

"Yahoo" and "Google" came to DunRoamin' on March 10, 2022 from the Fielding area where they had been found in a garbage bin. Examination by their new vet friend showed that they had been born about September 9, 2021, so were only about six months old.

Both kittens were skinny, had mild conjuctivitis with discharge from their eyes and had ear mites. Google is black and white and Yahoo is pewter grey with white. They are very much bonded to each other and are beautiful, friendly, and grateful to have this chance at a new home and family. They will be spayed, fully vaccinated, treated for all parasites and tested for FIV and FeLV. They are anxious to be able to leave for new homes in just a couple of weeks!!

On April 30, 2022 they went to spend some time with their friends at The Purrfect Cup and hopes that they meet their new family there!

We are very happy to report that on May 6, 2022, Google and Yahoo were chosen to join the family of a lady from Cape Breton who met them, fell in love and knew she couldn't NOT have them in her life forever! We are very happy that these two little girls get to stay together. Thanks to their friends at The Purrfect Cup for fostering them and allowing them the opportunity to meet their new family. Congratulations, Google and Yahoo! Don't forget to write!!

"Odette" came to DunRoamin' on January 14, 2022 from the Woodstock area where she was a stray who was thought to have been sick, but when assessed by her new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic was found to be healthy. She was born about January 14, 2021.

Odette was spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for parasites. She was very fortunate to be invited to stay with her friends at The Purrfect Cup in Fredericton where she showed her true personality daily - she's a bit feisty, but if she likes you, she likes you!!

On March 26, 2022, Odette was adopted to a very nice young couple from Fredericton who appreciated her unique personality, and she loved them at first sight. She is now a permanent family member and is loving it!! Congratulations to you and your new family, Odette! Write soon!

"Bairn" came to DunRoamin' on January 31, 2002 from the Perth-Andover area where he had been dropped off at the home of a family that was unable to keep him. As he had no other alternative, he came to us for help. Bairn was healthy, but required treatment for gastrointestinal parasites. Bairn was born about November 25, 2021, so was only about two months old, barely old enough to be away from his mother.

On March 22, 2021, Bairn was SO happy to learn that he had been adopted by a wonderful couple in Fredericton where he is a new brother for Hare and Chipmunk, two beautiful little girls who came to DunRoamin' from a colony of 62 on February 4 and were adopted on August 14, 2021. We are so happy you have such a great home and loving family. Congratulations to all!

"Trax," her mom Tanoo, brother Trudge and sisters Tamara, Tamper, Tardis, and Tenet all came to us from Fielding on November 14, 2021 where they had been observed living alone around an abandoned building. No one was able to take care of them.

Trax and her siblings were born about September 29, 2021, so were still nursing. Tanoo certainly needed more food to support them, and they were soon getting the care they needed.

Trax was the most timid of her siblings and was most comfortable when with another cat. We hoped that she might go to a home with a sibling, a friend, or a home that already had another cat, so that she might be more confident and happy.

On February 26, 2022, Trax was very happy to be adopted with her friend Tolja to a home in Fredericton where they will live together happily for the rest of their lives. Congratulations, Trax, Tolja, and your new family! Please send photos and let us know how wonderful your new home is!

Spoken for!

"Tolja" came to DunRoamin' on December 3, 2021 from Hartland where he had no one to care for him. Born about August 25, 2021, he was relatively healthy with the exception of a bit of diarrhea, due no doubt to lack of a healthy diet.

Tolja was placed on a Fibre diet initially to ensure he became a happy and healthy little boy, which he soon did. He is a real sweetheart who just wants love and stability in his life.

Tolja is fully vaccinated, tested, for FIV and FeLV, neutered and treated for all parasites. He is anxious for a family of his very own. He was pleased to spend some time with his friends at The Purrfect Cup in Two Nations Crossing where he enjoyed himself immensely.

On February 26, Tolja and his friend Trax were both adopted together to a home in Fredericton where they will live happily ever after. Congratulations to both of you, and to your new family! Write soon!

"Solemn" came to DunRoamin' on November 10, 2021, from Bristol where she had developed bladder stones and her owners were unable to provide medical care for her. She was born about November 10, 2016 and is a beautiful little girl who was soon provided with the surgery she required to remove the bladder stones and make her healthy. She had a fractured right canine which also required removal, had urine scald on her tail and her tail may have previously been fractured.

She underwent surgery on November 10, 2021, to remove the stones and was soon doing just fine. Solemn requires a prescription food, Royal Canin Urinary S/O, to ensure she does not develop more stones, but this is not a big deal at all. She is a beautiful little girl who is very affectionate and loving.

On February 20, 2022, Solemn was adopted by a very nice lady in Dumfries where she will live happily ever after as a beloved family member. Congratulations, Solemn! We are SO happy for you! Write soon!

"Mayim" came to DunRoamin' on January 14, 2022 from Juniper where she had been left in a box on a doorstep of a family who was unable to care for her. She came to us and was determined to be healthy. She underwent our routine protocol to ensure she was spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, tested for Feline Leukemia and treated for all parasites. Mayim has a beautiful personality, gets along just fine with all humans and other cats. She deserved a loving home, as do we all.

On February 12, 2022, Mayim was adopted by a very nice young couple from Fredericton who already have two very lucky DunRoamin' cats. Congratulations, Mayim, your life has changed forever! You couldn't possibly have done better! Send lots of photos, and give your new sisters our love!

"Marian" and her two daughters, Macy and Melody came to DunRoamin' on August 3, 2021 from Woodstock where Marian was a stray who had kittens.  No one was able to care for them.  Thankfully, Marian is a very caring, loving and affectionate mom to her two babies.

Marian was diagnosed with a luxating patella on her left hind leg (her kneecap can move in and out, but this is very rarely a problem from our experience with so many cats with this issue).  She had parasites, mild tartar on her teeth and was underweight.  We'll make sure she gets all the good nutrition she needs now!

Marian was born about August 4, 2020 and her daughters were born about June 27, 2021.  Marian has obviously been someone's pet as she is loving and accepting of humans and is familiar with being indoors.  She has a quiet, loving personality and would love nothing more than to have a family with whom to watch TV and sleep on their bed at night (and maybe a nap or three during the day!)

Marian is spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites.  She is anxious for a home of her very own.  On October 22, 2021, she went to spend some time with her friends at The Purrfect Cup Cat Cafe in Fredericton.  Please drop in for a visit - you'll LOVE it there!

On February 7, 2022, Marian was adopted to a home in Fredericton where she will be the new sister of another cat, Sally. Congratulations to you and your new family, Marian! Write soon!

"Dutton" came to us on January 10, 2022 from Oakland where he had been abandoned and was trying to survive on his own. He had found a bit of shelter in some unheated out-buildings, but there was no water, very little food and no one to love him or keep him safe. Thankfully, a nice lady noticed him and brought him for help. Born about January 11, 2021, Dutton was underweight and had a head tilt due to damage inflicted by ear mites which had never been treated. He had already been neutered, and he also had a small cyst on his neck, but that's nothing for him (or us!) to worry about! Dutton is extremely sweet and loving and it seems he can't show his gratitude enough. He purrs, head butts and generally does everything he can to say thank you for his warm bed, abundant food, medical care and, of course, chin rubs! Dutton will soon be up to date with vaccines and ready to go to a loving home. He can't wait!

On February 3, 2022, Dutton was so happy to learn that he had been adopted by a family in Pembroke where he will be a friend for a three-year old cat who will be so happy to have a new feline friend. Congratulations, Dutton! Write soon!!

"Starla" came to DunRoamin' on December 15, 2021 from the Bedell area where she and her daughter, Chrissy (see below) were living in a basement where no one was able to provide for them, so they came to us for help. Starla was born about December 16, 2017 and is a beautiful calico girl with double paws. She was initially nervous (who wouldn't be?) but has since recognized the fact that she is warm, safe and well cared for. She is a friendly and affectionate little girl who loves her daughter Chrissy (see below). It would be wonderful if this mother and daughter could stay together since they have never been separated and obviously love each other and enjoy each other's company. They are attached to each other and have similar personalities.

On January 28, 2022, Starla and Chrissy were very excited to leave for their new home in McKenzie Corner where they will be the newest family members for three young ladies. We are so happy they get to stay together in such a great family! Congratulations!

"Chrissy" came to DunRoamin' on December 15, 2021 with her mother Starla (see above) from the Bedell area where they were living in a basement. Chrissy was born about December 16, 2020. She loves her mom very much and they are so much alike, although Chrissy doesn't have double paws. They are both very loving and affectionate and are grateful for a warm bed, lots of food and even more love and affection from their servants. They would love to go to a home together since they have never been separated and obviously have such a strong bond. Both Chrissy and her mom are spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and have been treated for parasites. They are ready and waiting to join a family so they can share their love!

On January 28, 2022, Starla and Chrissy were very excited to leave for their new home in McKenzie Corner where they will be the newest family members for three young ladies. We are so happy they get to stay together in such a great family! Congratulations!

"LeMieux" returned to us on January 12, 2022. He was born about March 5, 2011, and had originally come to us on March 5, 2014 from Holmesville where he had been a stray who was observed to be injured. He was so scared that he had to be live trapped, but he soon realized he was among friends. He had ear mites, wounds on his head and a healed bite wound on his right hind leg. Lemieux's concerns were all treated and he was adopted on June 22, 2014.

Unfortunately, due to medical issues, his family was unable to continue to care for him, so on January 12, 2022, he came back to us to find a new home. LeMieux is a very sweet boy. He is now fully up to date on his vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV and is neutered. He is a quiet, unassuming little boy who would love to have a nice, quiet home.

On January 26, 2022, LeMieux was adopted by a gentleman from Florenceville where he will be the first cat he has ever had the pleasure of being owned by. LeMieux follows him constantly, sleeps on his bed and is generally his best friend. "Home is where the cat is!" And LeMieux has found his. Congratulations to both of you!!

"Forest" came to DunRoamin' on December 12, 2020 from a colony of 62 that was growing unchecked.  She was born about June 13, 2019, so is a sibling to Cadeau, Eira, Amaryllis and Neige.

Forest had upper respiratory infection, flea allergy dermatitis and ear mites.  She is a beautiful long-haired grey tabby who looks forward to having a safe, warm and caring home in which to spend the remainder of her life.  Because she has never been without multiple cats in her life with whom to sleep, cuddle and play, we hope she may be adopted with a sibling so that she may feel loved and comfortable when her life changes for the better!!

As of mid-January, she is still experiencing some upper respiratory symptoms and is under close supervision of her veterinarian to ensure he gets better as quickly as she can.  Had she not had this care, she would not be in a good place at all, but we were certain with the expertise of her vet, she would soon be fine and ready to go to a home of her very own.  She is currently on inhalable medication twice daily for asthma and it is possible that she may need this for life.  She stayed close to her vet for several weeks to ensure she was doing well.   On May 16, 2021, she was invited to be fostered by a very caring family in Woodstock where she will enjoy the company of other cats, two kids and the best foster parents EVER while receiving the medical monitoring she may need, although she is doing VERY well!   Have fun, Forest - you'll LOVE it there!

On January 19th, 2022 she was adopted to a home in Woodstock where she has both cat and dog friends as well as two great kids to love her!

"Tamper," her mom Tanoo, brother Trudge and sisters Tamara, Tardis, Trax and Tenet all came to us from Fielding on November 14, 2021 where they had been observed living alone around an abandoned building.  No one was able to take care of them.  Tamper and her siblings were born about September 29, 2021, so were still nursing.  Tanoo certainly needed more food to support them, and they are now getting the care they need.  Stay tuned for updates on their health and happiness!

On January 14, 2022, Tamper was introduced to a nice lady from McLaughlin, NB, who has two DunRoamin' cats and wanted to add to her family. They hit it off immediately! And, as an added bonus her friend Glacier was also chosen so she would have someone her own age to play with. Congratulations to everyone!! Send lots of photos!

"Glacier" came to DunRoamin' on the evening of December 25, 2021 from the Centerville area where she had been found with her right front paw frozen to the ground. Her paw was several times it's normal size. She was quickly examined by her new vet who initiated a regimen to help bring her back to health which included antibiotics, pain medication and parasite control. She was born about September 25, 2021. We are hoping to save her leg.

Despite medical intervention, Glacier's right front leg and part of her tail required amputation on January 3, 2022. She is currently under the care of her favourite vet tech while she recovers from her surgeries and is doing well. She thanks all who sent good wishes and donations for the support she is receiving. She is very grateful for her lack of pain, loving foster mother and a chance at a home and a brand new life. Stay tuned - we'll keep you up to date on this little sweetheart!

On January 14, 2022, Glacier met a nice lady from McLaughlin, NB, who has two DunRoamin' cats and wanted to add to her family. Glacier fell in love immediately! And, her friend Tamper was also chosen so she would have someone her own age to play with. Congratulations!!

"Trudge," his mom Tanoo and sisters Tamper, Tamara, Tardis, Trax and Tenet all came to us from Fielding on November 14, 2021 where they had been observed living alone around an abandoned building.  No one was able to take care of them.  Trudge and his siblings were born about September 29, 2021, so were still nursing.  Tanoo certainly needed more food to support them, and they are all getting the care they need.  Stay tuned for updates on their health and happiness!

On January 12, 2022, Trudge met a very nice lady who welcomed him into her home. Trudge now lives in Bloomfield where he will have a wonderful family to care for him. Congratulations, Trudge! Send lots of photos so we can watch you grow!

"Nogg," came to DunRoamin' on December 17, 2021 from Northampton where he was a stray who was being fed, but people could no longer care for him so his life was in danger of ending. Nogg was accepted by DunRoamin' and his new vet diagnosed him as a healthy and happy little boy who was born about September 3, 2019. He is very affectionate and happy, especially now that he has a warm bed, lots of food, medical care and lots of friends to play with.

On January 10, 2022, Nogg was adopted by a young lady from Muniac, NB, where he is a new friend for Bash, another ex-DunRoamin' cat who has cerebellar hyperplasia and is doing so very well in his home. He loves his new friend Nogg and we are so glad they have each other to play with! Congratulations to all!

Look at me now!!

"Legion" came to us from Florenceville on November 11, 2021.  She, her mom and sibling had been strays in the area for some time, but although someone was feeding them, they had no home or place of safety.  Legion's sibling had recently been killed and Legion was noticed to have what appeared to be a broken leg.

Legion was brought to DunRoamin' so that she could receive the care she required.  It was learned that her right front leg was badly broken and could not be repaired, so it was amputated on November 12, 2021.  In addition to this, she had a large, open, badly-infected wound on her belly - she was obviously in pain.  Legion was born about August 11, 2021, so was only about 12 weeks old.

Legion received all the medical assistance she required.  She is currently fostered by her new very best friend who already has her purring and turning upside down for belly rubs.  Legion is doing very well and is a sweet little girl.  She will be fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites.  Donations are appreciated to help this little one.

On January 10, 2022 Legion was adopted by a young couple in Fredericton who currently have two other DunRoamin' cats, Mitten and Barlowe, and a dog. Now re-named "Bug", she fits in perfectly with her three legs and huge heart. Congratulations!

"Ellery" came to DunRoamin' on October 5, 2021 from the Bath area where he was a stray who had been hanging around several houses but had no one to care for him.  He was assessed by the Florenceville Vet Clinic who determined that he was born about October 5, 2019 and was in relatively decent health.

Ellery is a very nice little black cat.  He will receive his full set of vaccines, be neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites.  Then, he'll be ready to go to a loving home where he can live indoors and be safe and loved forever.

On January 10, 2022 Ellery was adopted by his foster family in Bristol which includes two young kids and another ex-DunRoamin' cat, Cratchit. Congratulations to all!!

"Tenet," her mom Tanoo, brother Trudge and sisters Tamara, Tardis, Trax and Tamper all came to us from Fielding on November 14, 2021 where they had been observed living alone around an abandoned building.  No one was able to take care of them.  Tenet and her siblings were born about September 29, 2021, so were still nursing.  Tanoo certainly needed more food to support them, and they are now getting the care they need.  Stay tuned for updates on their health and happiness!

On January 9, 2022 a young couple drove all the way from Saint John to meet kittens and fell in love with Tenet. She is now a new sister for another ex-DunRoamin' cat, Luna. Congratulations!

"Vibes" came to DunRoamin' on October 6, 2021 from the Hartland area where he was a stray who was found to have an injured left hind leg.  No one was able to help him.  Vibes was born about October 6, 2020 and we suspect he may be a friend of Rosemary's and Pawl's (see above) who came from the same area.

Vibes had a 3-cm laceration on his left hip, probably the result of a bite wound.  This wound required sutures to close.  He was infested with a huge number of fleas and ear mites as well - both of which are extremely uncomfortable/painful for a cat.  He was given pain medication as well as antibiotics to help him heal and be more comfortable.

Vibes has displayed a wonderfully loving and affectionate personality.  He is friendly and attentive - always looking for that next human hand to pat him or give him a quick rub on the top of his head.  He will make a wonderful friend for someone and he can't wait to join a family of his very own.  He'll be ready for a home in early November.

On November 19, 2021, Vibes went to stay with his friends at The Purrfect Cup Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton.  He loves everyone here already, especially Shona!  Please drop in, have a coffee and meet some beautiful cats.  Shona and her staff are amazing - you'll love it here!!

On January 7, 2021, Vibes was excited to go to his new home in Killarney Road where he will live happily ever after. Congratulations, Vibes!! Please write soon!

"Tardis," her mom Tanoo, brother Trudge and sisters Tamper, Tamara, Tardis, Trax and Tenet all came to us from Fielding on November 14, 2021 where they had been observed living alone around an abandoned building.  No one was able to take care of them.  Tardis and her siblings were born about September 29, 2021, so were still nursing.  Tanoo certainly needed more food to support them, and they are now getting the care they need.  Stay tuned for updates on their health and happiness!

On January 7, 2022, Tardis was adopted as a friend for Gremlin (adopted November 20, 2020). She now lives happily in Florenceville. Please sent lots of photos so we can see you grow up!

Spoken for!

"Tamara," her mom Tanoo, brother Trudge and sisters Tamper, Tardis, Trax and Tenet all came to us from Fielding on November 14, 2021 where they had been observed living alone around an abandoned building.  No one was able to take care of them.  Tamara and her siblings were born about September 29, 2021, so were still nursing.  Tanoo certainly needed more food to support them, and they are now getting the care they need.  Stay tuned for updates on their health and happiness!

Tamara was adopted by a young family in Fredericton where her best friend will be an 8-year-old boy. Congratulations! As her new best friend is a Star Wars fan, her new name is "Fennec", after a character from Boba Fett!

"Meep" came to DunRoamin' on October 7, 2021 from Centreville where he had been found under a porch with two siblings who had already passed away. No mom or family could be located. Born about September 23, 2021, Meep was only about two weeks old, so he needed a human to help him in order to survive.

Meep was quickly and generously accepted into the care of a loving vet tech who cared for him and made sure he would be okay. Thanks, Marley. Because he was so young, fragile and had no mom, he required round-the-clock care for the first few weeks, and he is very fortunate to have had the professional care and attention he received. He was also the recipient of some very generous donations to help with his medical care, for which we are all very grateful - especially Meep!

Meep did well in his recovery and growing and was soon old and healthy enough to be neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and treated for all parasites. Next stop - NEW HOME!!

On December 27, 2021, Meep was adopted to a very loving home in Hanwell where he will be so spoiled and loved! He's come a very long way from where he was found, and we are grateful for all the people who had a hand in giving him this wonderful new life. Congratulations to both you and your new family, Meep. Send lots of photos!!

Van Helsing

"Van Helsing," Kruger, Lecter, and Gremlin came to us on October 24, 2021 from a colony in Florenceville which we have been trying to help for some time. Several other of our kittens came from this same location recently.

Gremlin was in the worst shape with severe upper respiratory infection (URI). They were cold, hungry and not happy little campers. Fortunately, with the care they received at the Florenceville Veterinary clinic, they were soon fine. They were placed on medication for their URI and were soon gaining weight. Although they were initially very scared, thanks to the love and care of their foster mother they were soon coming out of their shells and beginning to seek out human interaction. And they purr!!! You have to listen carefully, but they were soon purring with all their might when they see a human! They were born about September 11, 2021 and are very grateful for their new life.

Van Helsing, the only long-haired little boy of the litter, had personality to spare! He was soon the hit of the party and was loved by all.

On December 22, 2021, Van Helsing was adopted to a home in Halifax where he is now a friend for another DunRoamin' cat and a rabbit, all of whom are now fast friends! Van Helsing likes to steal his rabbit friend's lunch, but they get along famously and even cuddle together when they sleep. Congratulations to everyone! Keep sending lots of photos - we love to see them all!
